Annette Chew is the first, and at this time the only, to possess a dual license as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in the state of Hawaii. She is born and raised on the island of Oʻahu and has dedicated her career to strengthening the families that she has had the honor to work with. Annette has worked with children and adults with Autism and developmental disabilities and in the prevention and intervention of family violence for over 15 years.

Many years ago, she identified that Hawaii's families were in need of therapeutic services that balance and blend behavior analytic and family-centered interventions. She felt a well-rounded approach to supporting our local families was missing. As a proud Native Hawaiian, her mission was to bridge that gap.

In 2017, Annette founded Behavior Analysis and Family Therapy Center of Hawaii as part of her mission to provide quality support services to the families of Hawaiʻi.
